But the constant crowds also means there are a lot more vehicles on the roads, and TOW provides a reliable and efficient tow truck Gold Coast service to quickly attend to any roadside emergencies.

We Provide a Full Range of Towing Services
Our range of tow truck Gold Coast services are affordable and reliable, designed to get you and your vehicle off the road and to a safe location as quickly and efficiently as possible. These services include:
Car and Motorcycle Breakdown Towing: We can tow any type of vehicle, including all sized cars and motorcycles, from the site of a breakdown anywhere on the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. Don’t waste time waiting for roadside assistance, which can often take hours to arrive and can’t always guarantee an easy fix for your vehicle. Our towing services can be at your location within the hour to safely remove your car or motorcycle to be stored in a secure holding yard nearby, until you organise its pick up and repair.
Machinery and Forklift Towing: Our services include the towing and transport of large machines and forklifts, so if you need to move your heavy machinery and equipment between work sites then we have the correct tow trucks and towing equipment to relocate them safely.
Accident and Smash Towing: Whether your vehicle is just slightly damaged or a complete write-off after an accident or crash, it needs to be removed from the scene quickly and securely so it doesn’t cause a road hazard. TOW always arrives on the scene as fast as possible, and all our tow truck drivers and sub-contractors are properly trained and experienced in the correct procedures of towing vehicles from accident sites. This involves preparing your vehicle for towing as well as clearing up the scene of the accident so as not to cause any further damage to other drivers or their vehicles.
Container Towing: We can move any sized container or shed between locations, including portable utilities and towable buildings, and our round the clock service ensures you’ll always have your equipment when and where you need it.
Carpark Towing: We can also tow and transport vehicles from underground and restricted access carparks. So even if you break down in a hard-to-reach area, we have the suitable equipment and tow trucks to access your vehicle anywhere.
Abandoned Vehicle Towing: Abandoned vehicles in public places can be unsafe for people living and working in nearby areas, and we can provide an abandoned vehicle towing service to remove them. In the Gold Coast area you can report an abandoned vehicle online to have it towed.
Transport and Car Freight: Our safe and secure transport and car freight service can move your vehicle or vehicles from one location to another if you aren’t able to drive it yourself. If you own multiple vehicles and need to move them interstate, or are required to move vehicles between car dealerships or auction houses, we handle large amounts of vehicles with care and efficiency and can help you get them to where they need to go.
Trade Towing: If you need to move trade equipment and heavy machinery between worksites, our reliable 24/7 trade towing service will ensure you get it all on time so your work isn’t delayed.
Car and Motorcycle Transport: And for any other type of car or motorcycle transport between home, work or commercial spaces, TOW can provide an efficient and dependable service that you can trust.

The Most Dangerous Roads on the Gold Coast
The Gold Coast has a number of notoriously dangerous roads that we highly recommend you take extra care when driving through.
The one way stretch of road in Broadbeach Hedges Avenue, dubbed ‘Millionaire’s Row’, is one of the busiest local roads in the area and a danger spot for pedestrians and cyclists. During peak hours the road carries more vehicles than a single lane of the Gold Coast Highway, and crashes are very common. A recent decision by the Gold Coast City Council together with the Queensland Police Force and the Department of Transport and Main Roads, will see the current 50km/h speed limit drop to 30km/h. After about 20 years of lobbying by local residents, this decision will make it the lowest speed limit in the city.
Gold Coast Springbrook Road in Mudgeeraba has a number of dangerous blind corners, most notably at the intersection of this road and Monaro Road where several accidents have occurred, many resulting in fatalities. We advise you take extra care when driving this winding stretch of road and follow the speed limits.
Macquarie Street in the residential area of Molendinar attracts a lot of dangerous driving around the many sharp turns into side streets, and results in a lot of crashes.
Surfers Paradise is one of the most popular night spots and tourist attractions, and has been the scene of many accidents where drivers have been under the influence. Take special care when driving through The Esplanade and main surrounding streets, be aware of other drivers and adhere to the speed limits.
The Black Spot Program
The Federal Government recently announced extra funding of $4.4 million to fix 6 dangerous black spots on local Gold Coast roads. These roads include:
Pimpama-Jacobs Well Road to Eggersdorf Road in Norwell will receive approximately $1.5 million to install wide centre line treatment, chevron alignment markers, guideposts, raised reflective pavement markers and warning signs. Sealed shoulders will also be improved.
Robert Street and Turpin Road in Labrador will receive $245 000 to install a single lane roundabout.
Cottesloe Drive and University Drive in Robina will receive approximately $1 million to install new traffic signals, a left turn deceleration lane, line marking and street lighting.
Chelsea Avenue and Surf Parade in Broadbeach will receive $178 000 to improve intersection visibility, upgrade road signage, install kerb build outs and improve cycle/pedestrian crossings.
Australia Avenue and Surf Parade in Broadbeach will receive $140 000 to increase the visibility of the intersection, improve road signage and install kerb build outs to improve pedestrian crossings.
Beaudesert-Nerang Road in Mount Nathan will receive approximately $1.2 million to widen and seal shoulders, and install guard rails and centre line marking.
These improvements will make the roads around the Gold Coast much safer for drivers, and we advise you to continue to take care when driving through these areas while the upgrades are being made.
